Our 360° Feedback, Revalidation Ready, Appraiser and Appraisal training is designed to help ensure that everyone involved is aware of their responsibilities and to make it a positive and rewarding experience for the appraisee.

Our team of trainers have been given access to RST training to ensure we are up to date with our training programmes. We can confirm that we will adhere to the RST document, Medical Appraisal for Revalidation: Assuring the Quality of Appraisers.

Our trainers are highly skilled and we have developed our methodology based on experience and the feedback of our clients to ensure sessions are productive and memorable. We have been carrying out training for healthcare appraisers for over 10 years.

We will tailor sessions according to your specific brief and the requirements of the attendees with no more than 10 people per session/trainer. Our two core modules are 360° Feedback appraiser training and Revalidation Ready appraiser training.

Feedback appraiser training (Maximum 10 people): 3 hrs


This is an interactive session, with highly skilled trainers, to hone the unique skills necessary to maximise the benefits of 360° Feedback for the appraiser and appraisee. The focus is on communication and coaching techniques and is not just limited to doctors. Board members, nurses, midwives and managers can add to their skillsets as well.


Objectives:


By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
Describe how 360° assessment fits into appraisal and revalidation
Understand the difference between training and coaching using the GROW coaching model
Explain of how 360° Feedback works
Interperate 360 reports
Describe the communication skills needed to provide effective 360 feedback.


 

Revalidation Ready Appraiser Training (Maximum 10 people): 3 hrs


This is another interactive session that aims to educate appraisers and appraisees on the requirements for revalidation. It will essentially include an overview of revalidation, what the GMC require, the responsibilities of both appraiser and appraisee and the balance between organisational and revalidation requirements.



360° Appraisee and rater information sessions:


These sessions are the perfect way to launch 360° Feedback and RMS, informing appraisees and appraisers about the system, how it will work, what they can expect, Trust Policy and constructive feedback. There is no limit on attendees but no more than 30 is suggested to support meaningful discussions afterwards.
